MAHTUVA is a height-adjustable desk which is ideal for your home office. With this computer desk, you can easily change working positions from sitting to standing during the workday. When there is no need for a working table, MAHTUVA acts as a beautiful side table at home.
The MAHTUVA adjustable gas spring desk is easy to adjust using a lever under the tabletop.
These modern and stylish computer desks complement your home decor beautifully. It is easy to move MAHTUVA standing tables from one room to another with wheels. The wheels can be attached to the table by magnets, and are sold separately.
The elegant MAHTUVA desk was designed by Ari Kanerva. The tables are manufactured in house at Selka’s factory in Finland.
The base is available in powder coated metal, black, or white, and is adjustable in height from 71 to 115 or 61 to 99 cm (with wheels 66 - 104 cm). The tabletop is available in durable solid laminate or oak veneer.

It’s beautifully designed and blends with the decor.
I love the design of the wheels and the table. The oak top and white base blends well with the rest of the living room.
Wonderful desk, excellent quality.
The box arrived beaten to hell and falling apart. I was concerned that the desk would be damaged but it survived miraculously. Selka needs to improve their packaging a lot. I have another desk from them that feels more solid. This second desk is more wobbly and feels like the post is less secure. The cost is extremely high for something that feels a bit less premium than it should be.

Overall a nice/ok product. Easy to mount, functional, beautiful design and quality feel almost across everything. However, ’almost’ is the key word here - seems the surface/top material has changed at some point (which product details confirm). I have another Selka table, top is made of massive oak wood, purchased around 2020 - it is superb in all ways (that’s why I did not even bother to read the product details). The new one has a top made of mdf/oak veneer, significant downgrade in looks and especially feel vs the older model. And prices have gone up. That rewards no more than 3 stars. I do not believe value for money is there anymore, to the point where I doubt there will be a third table coming my way.

Store owner replied: Hello Lauri, unfortuantely the solid oak material started to go VERY high in price and the materials had too often cracks during the transport. The cost of solid oak tops should have been increased to be double to make sense selling them. Over all table top mateerials have gone up a lot, not only the wood. The current material is more durable and the top layer is oak layer, but unfortunately no longer solid oak. Juha
I’m very happy with my Selka height adjustable desk – in fact, this is already the second one I’ve purchased. It’s compact, practical, and really well-designed, perfect for both working and saving space. The quality and usability definitely make it a joy to use every day. The only downside is the price: it has gone up since my first purchase, and while it was never exactly cheap, it feels even more like a luxury item now. That said, the durability and functionality make it worth the investment. Overall, I can highly recommend this desk for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish height adjustable solution.
The desk leg is unstable and keeps wobbling so much it made me feel unwell while writing. I had to put paper into the leg to make it usable. For such an expensive desk, this is unacceptable. Customer service also ignores complaints. Definitely not recommended.

Finnish Desing Shopin sähköpostimainonnan kautta löysin Selkan. FDS:ltä tilattavissa oli kuitenkin vain työpöytiä, jotka säädettävyydestään huolimatta olivat etsimääni korkeampia. Selkan omilta sivuilta kuitenkin löytyi tarpeeksi matala versio :). Sain myös Selkalta ripeät ja hyvät vastaukset kysymyksiini ennen tilauspäätöstä (mm. lisätarvikkeena tilattavat pyörät olisi saanut myös muissa kuin sivustolla esitellyissä väreissä, mutta päädyin vakiomustiin) <3. Iso iso plussa, että säätötoiminto ei tarvitse sähköä. Ja kotimaisuus. Toimitus pk-seudulle oli melkein liiankin ripeä :D , ja ennen kaikkea: tuote oli hyvin pakattu, en löytänyt naarmun naarmua tms., joista on tapana ilmoittaa lähettäjäpäähän ihan vain tiedoksi, vaikka en haluaisi vaihtaa taikka reklamoida. Koottu on - onnistui hyvin - ja oikein tukevalta ja hyvännäköiselta vaikuttaa, mutta toistaiseksi ei vielä tositoimissa testattu.
I love the magnetic wheels! Perfect fit and sleek design. The table is great, but will benefit greatly with an embedded bolt for the screws. I can see the edges of some screw holes starting to chip as i try to screw in. Table board is pretty but could be slightly thicker

I've had this desk for two years now, and couldn't be happier with it. I live in a small studio apartment and got my desk with wheels - it works as anything! A small dining table for two people (pictured), a stand-up workstation, a drinks stand for parties and a convenient, movable side table if I need one. The quality of this desk is very good, and the lifting/lowering mechanism works like a dream. I'm very happy that I bought this instead of an electric table, because there are no cables and my Selka desk is very movable.

Todella hyvännäköinen ja laadukkaanoloinen pöytä. Vaijeri oli lyhyempi kuin ohjeissa ja siksi pöytälevy piti kiinnittää toisin päin. Säätö toimii, mutta vaatii jonkin verran voimaa.

Todella hyvä ja helppo systeemi pyörien kiinnitykseen. Pyörät ovat tukevasti kiinni.
I bought the height adjustable desk MAHTUVA L 78x50, with wheels. It's one of the best purchases I have ever made! Quality is tiptop and the make is simple and elegant. The table is very stable, and can definitely hold the weight of a human leaning/resting with his/her arms on the table top. The table easily adjusts upwards, but can be a little stiff when adjusting downwards. This is not an issue for me though, I just need to lean in on the table a little when adjusting it downwards. In fact, I feel that this is an important feature to ensure that the table can hold the weight of whatever is placed on it. Further, I strongly recommend purchasing the wheels that come with the table. They easily snap on with a strong magnet, and they are important to facilitate moving the table around (the base plate is rather heavy!). The wheels can also be locked if you decide to stay in one position. Shipment was relatively quick (I live in the Czech Republic, Prague). The product was properly packed with instructions, so everything came together under 20 mins. Highly recommend! :)

I can recommend the wheels if you want to move the table often. They are easy to mount, look good and work well.
At least for now, the Selka Mahtuva is a practical solution as a mobile beamer stand.

Pöytä on todella kivan näköinen ja toimiva, sekä kivasti siirreltävissä paikasta toiseen. Minulla oli samasta pöydästä edellinen malli, jossa pöytälevy toista materiaalia. Tässä uudessa materiaalissa pöydän reuna on terävämpi ja ärsyttää ranteen ihoa, tätä ongelmaa ei edellisessä ollut. Pintamateriaali helpommin puhtaana pidettävä. Tiedoksi vain, jos teette tuotekehitystä :)

Tykkään! Pöydän korkeussäätö on pehmeä, mutta tukeva. Työntelen pyörillä liikkuvaa pöytää etätyöpäivän aikana huoneesta toiseen - mahdollistaa todella monipuoliset työskentelyasennot! M-koko on riittävä läppärille ja joillekin papereille, mutta tarpeeksi pieni mahtumaan huoneen nurkkaan kun ei ole käytössä.
Elegant and noble design fitting in flowlessly with the rooms interior. The smooth black tables‘ high manufacturing quality is tangible and it’s utilization ist very convenient.
I really like the laptop stand! Because our flat is small, the stand saves space whilst being super functional. Got the wheels too, so I can freely move it around and work from different locations.
